Lone Star Ag Credit Announces New Board Member

Fort Worth, Texas –Lone Star, ACA (Lone Star Ag Credit), the premier ag-lender in Texas, would like to announce the addition of our newest board member, Troy Moncrief. Moncrief will join 11 other board members who oversee the operations of the cooperative agricultural credit association.

"Troy has lived in the Fort Worth area for nearly 30 years. His knowledge and expertise of the Fort Worth market will allow Lone Star Ag Credit to better serve the residents of Tarrant County and the surrounding area, "said, CEO, Daron Gates.

Moncrief received his bachelor's degree from TCU in Advertising and Public Relations. He currently serves as the President of Tarrant County for Sendera Title. Prior to joining Sendera Title, Moncrief served as a securities broker for nine years. In the past, he has owned businesses in the real estate and hunting industries.

Moncrief is extremely active in charities, especially those that work with children. He currently serves on the board with Speedway Children's Charities, where he is chairing the Beretta Celebrity Clay Shoot in November for the third year. Moncrief is also on the executive board for Campfire Boys and Girls and President of the board for CAST "Catch A Special Thrill" located in Renton, Washington, which organizes fishing events across the nation for handicapped children. Troy was also a recipient of Forth Worth Business Press' 40 Under 40 Award in 2003. Troy currently resides in Aledo, with his wife, Julie, and two children, Ross and Ashley.

Gates said, "Troy is an asset to the Fort Worth community. He loves the city and everything it represents. Lone Star Ag Credit is also a firm believer in the heritage that Fort Worth offers its citizens and we hope that we can help continue that way of life for many families in this area."
