Lone Star Ag Credit Hosts Appreciation Dinner in Hooks, Texas Celebrating $7,000,000 Patronage Refund
Lone Star Ag Credit hosted their 4th Annual Appreciation dinner at Rampage Farms in Hooks, Texas for the stockholders of New Boston Branch Office. This dinner was held to thank stockholders for helping make 2005 such a successful year and for their continued support of the association.
The BBQ dinner celebrated a $7,000,000 cash patronage that was paid out to stockholders in the first quarter of 2006. The Association’s credit quality, earnings and growth were excellent in 2005. President Brody Baird stated, "When the association prospers, cooperative principals would dictate that the stockholders, which in our case are our borrowers, should benefit."
Lone Star Ag Credit is a $700 million dollar customer-owned cooperative that provides real estate loans, livestock loans, operating loans and related financial services to farmers, ranchers, agribusinesses, rural land owners and country homeowners in the North Texas area from Snyder to Texarkana and from the Red River to south of the metroplex. This cash payment represents a continued commitment by the board of directors to distribute profits of the association to its members.
